    Description
    Fund Operations Manager

    Primary responsibilities include Operational, Financial and Administrative functions for a digital assets investment fund. Reporting will be directly to the Director of the Investment Manager.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Operations & Administration:

    • Fund Administration – main contact and oversight with fund admin and accountants for each entity
    • Management of outsourced legal resources
    • Legal filings and operational management for all entities
    • Support with creation, review and updates of legal documents such as shareholders' agreements, articles of incorporation, legal agreements, resolutions, waivers, indemnity agreements, NDAs etc.
    • Review/ drafting of ongoing operational legal contracts
    • Review and negotiate investment contracts with prospective target investee companies/ projects
    • Investment processes, documentation and subscriptions
    • Investor KYC/AML processes and documentation
    • Ongoing reconciliation support for investment activities with Archimed team and third-party fund admin and accountants
    • Oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual fund financials and capital statements by third-party fund administrator
    • Ensure compliance in all areas with legal and other advisors
    Finance

    • Budgeting, tracking and managing cash flows between entities within the fund group
    • Financial analysis and modeling in Excel
    • Tax – work with tax advisors to create and execute required filings, ongoing issue management, strategy and investor documents / support
    • Audit – hire and manage auditors and audit processes for required entities
    • Support with ongoing reconciliations, valuation efforts, confirmations and metrics
    • Calculations, oversight and execution of returns from investments
    • Support with waterfall creation and distributions to investors and Investment Manager team members
    • Banking – oversee accounts, manage relationships, solve issues and execute ongoing transfers
    • Expenses – work with fund admin/accountants to track and repay expenses through expense tracking platform and company credit cards
    • HR – documentation and payments with employees and consultants, oversee systems and ongoing issues

    Qualification requirements:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience as a COO or CFO in venture capital, private equity or corporate finance.
    • Extensive experience managing outsourced resources in the areas of legal, tax, accounting and audit.
    • Successful experience managing fundraising, subscription documents and investor relations.
    • Advanced Internet user
    • Highly Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
    • Familiarity/ Interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies.
    • Fluent English (oral and written). Foreign language a plus.
