    The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on all aspects of exciting, fast-paced projects, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of engineering areas.

    This role will involve working on multiple projects simultaneously within small teams to design, manufacture and commission bespoke test equipment.

    End to end involvement in projects from costing to commissioning.

    • The design of instrumentation and control systems.
    • Identification and selection of electrical equipment.
    • Solving electrical design challenges.
    • Hands on system testing and debugging.
    • Working on multiple projects both independently and as part of a team.
    Good understanding of electrical engineering

    • HNC/HND qualification and substantial work experience in electrical design.
    • Experienced user of EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical.
    • A keen interest in electrical design, machinery safety, instrumentation and control.
    • The ability to see projects through from conception to completion.
    PLC programming or LabVIEW

    • Knowledge of DSEAR regulations and electrical systems for hazardous areas.
    • Project management skills to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.
