    Bristol/ Southampton with hybrid

    We're delighted to partner with this international UK Top 50 firm to recruit a Lawyer to work within their nationally recognised Real Estate Energy and Natural Resources team.

    With an impressive client base across the globe, you will be working with entrepreneurial start-ups and joint ventures to established independents, vertically integrated utilities, financial institutions, governments and world-wide energy giants.

    The firm boasts a national presence of over 150 fee earners across 8 locations across the wider Real Estate team, and offers opportunities to get involved in varied and interesting work.

    Our client is seeking a Real Estate Lawyer with an energy sector focus.

    You might be working for an energy company on land options to operate a wind, solar, battery storage or hydrogen development and then supporting them to move their office location or develop an operation and maintenance facility.

    You'll experience a wide range of property work from development projects, acquisitions and disposals to landlord and tenant, asset management and portfolio management instructions for national and international energy clients; and as the team act on all real estate elements of major energy infrastructure developments, you'll see yourself involved in project development work for new generation projects in relation to both renewable energy transactions and mainstream power and pipeline projects.

    Transactions are often high value and offer an excellent opportunity to be involved in high profile quality work.

    This Real Estate team has a deserved reputation for providing first-class legal advice, acting as trusted advisors to many of the key players across the sector.

    A number of these talented lawyers are listed as leaders in their field.

    Working with the wider Real Estate team across the country there will be plenty of opportunity for client contact and you'll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts.

    Our client is seeking interest from enthusiastic Real Estate lawyers who've had exposure to quality real estate work, ideally from a large regional or city firm.

    You will be able to demonstrate good quality UK based experience of Energy infrastructure development or wider development experience in private practice, and may have 2 or more years' PQE.

    While energy experience is preferred anyone with an interest in this specialist area would be considered - what's most important is that you have a genuine enthusiasm in this specialism.

    Excellent drafting skills, a sense of commercial pragmatism, a bright mind and a strong team ethos to help further develop the team's client base is important for this role.

    Business development is important for all lawyers, and you will be able to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of client events, writing articles for the firm's website and other marketing activities.
