Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a Bar & Events Supervisor for an Education provider in the area.


Salary:
£21,605 - £22,648


The person & qualifications

  • Having previous experience in Bar Hospitality is also essential

Duties
1.1 The main purpose of this job is to ensure the customer receives the highest quality of services.


1.2 To maintain the operational running of the bar and ensure that staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability.

1.3 To provide excellent customer service

1.4 To maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety.

1.5 Maintain strict stock and financial control

1.6 To support in the successful operations of events

1.7 Providing administrative support for events and weddings

1.1 Supervise the smooth running of the bars.

1.2 To have a full understanding of the licensing law and all other legislation relevant to your role.


1.1 To understand and actively support all company policies relevant to your role, including Green Impact and Health and Safety Audit.

1.2 Ensure all venues open on time and that they are ready for business.


1.3 Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue.

1.4 Ensure staff meet the standards of the bars, addressing and correcting bad practice where need be.

1.5 Maintain back of house and cellars to a high standard.

1.6 Liaise on shift with Head Chef to resolve problems and ensure great service.


1.7 Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the venues, and for those standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift.


1.8 Ensure all venues close on time, end of day jobs completed to a high standard, staff are signed off promptly, all back and front of house areas checked and secured and that venues are in excellent order for the next day's service.

1.9 To actively maintain all areas within your remit.

1.10 To follow all till and cashing up procedures and ensure all staff are following these correctly.

1.11 Ensure a weekly events calendar is created and implemented.
