    Project Manager – Technology – York (hybrid / remote)

    So about the role:

    Our client are looking for someone with a background in Project Management to join the team to help with the day-to-day running of the EA function, shape and run a number of key EA initiatives and to help communicate and elaborate the EA vision.

    Responsibilities will include...

    • with the selection and ownership of tooling to support the EA processes. Collaborate to create and maintain the business and technical architecture modelled in the EA tools.
    • key EA artefacts are maintained as living documents through stakeholder management and a regular cadence of engagement.
    • with the business units to capture, triage, and prioritise demand onto the EA backlog.
    • the outward communications channels and raise the profile of EA.
    • the EA governance process, supporting group risk and compliance through coordination and facilitation of the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and overall engagement with the wider organisation.
    • the Chief Technology Officers and Lead Architects through the communication of:
    • Centrally managed catalogues
    • Strategic technologies and vendors
    • Strategic suppliers and partners
    • Research and advice for optimal technology subscription and licensing

    Skills and Experience:

    A broad foundational understanding of IT and related concepts with the ability to provide technical challenge where appropriate.

    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively and to organise others.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to understand and summarise complex topics in in a way which can easily be consumed by others and able to flex and adapt style to influence others at all levels.
    • Experience working in a project environment with exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience of Microsoft productivity tools, such as Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
