    Description
    FPGA implementation from either internally generated design specifications or externally published Interface Control Documentation.
    Design test/verification and qualification.
    Provide engineering support to internal Supply Chain and Client Services departments.
    Produce clear documentation to support the integration, system verification, configuration and use of the FPGA features.
    Honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
    ~ Demonstrable post-graduate related experience of VHDL project specification and development, test bench development and scripting experience, working within a structured engineering environment that includes Requirements Analysis/Definition, Design/Implementation, Defect Tracking, and Testing.
    ~ Relevant industrial experience and strong FPGA firmware programming skills using VHDL in a high-speed logic (
    ~Organised and methodical but also a creative thinker.
    S/W languages C, C++, Visual basic, TCL, Perl.
    Real time applications running under Linux or Windows.
    Experience in Digital Modulation techniques, GNSS, Communications theory, Signal Processing, Encryption processes and Matlab are all advantages.

    As an FPGA Developer in the Hardware team, you will help to innovate and develop technology for our Simulator Products based on leading-edge technology to drive the next generation of Spirent Communications products in the Positioning Technology Line of Business.

    Specifically, you will be required to develop, test and integrate new features and updates to FPGA implementations.
