    Role overview

    The Investment Strategy Management - Fund Management team sits within the Investment COO department working in partnership with a team of project managers and restructure execution managers to deliver enhanced client outcomes via our unified capabilities.

    We are the trade owner for on-going multi-asset class strategy implementation, cash management and currency hedging, managing assets for Multi-asset funds and bespoke client mandates against pre-defined investment guidelines and rules

    In this role you will help to drive forward the Investment Strategy Management (ISM) business with responsibility for the implementation, management and monitoring of multi asset strategies for a portfolio of, primarily corporate pension fund clients covering investment decisions, economic triggers, unit transfers, benchmarking and system specification/testing.

    What you'll be doing

    • Carrying outthe on-going efficient implementation of client designed mandates across a very broad set of strategy types across multiple asset classes and instruments, maintaining the asset allocation in line with established procedures, monitoring of investment tolerances and daily cash management
    • Managing the take on of new clients and strategies, including the checking of asset allocation letters and proposals, monitoring asset transfers, investing cash flows and setting management parameters in line with the mandate supplied.
    • Managing investment change events for the clients we are responsible for
    • Overseeing the ongoing multi-asset class strategy implementation, currency hedging and cash management
    • Leading the take on process of new Clients, Funds and Products understanding clients' business, issues and priorities to deliver suitable solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent understanding of asset allocation mandates
    • Experience in trade generation and managing multi asset strategies
    • Knowledge of a number or all of following; DC clients and strategies; illiquid fund management; depth of knowledge of pooled products
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • High level of numeracy
    • Good presentation skills
    • People management experience would be beneficial but notessential as we are flexible as to whether or not the successful candidate wants to be a people manager.
