- The role involves a varied caseload with a significant focus on Care proceedings.
- You'll be working alongside a seasoned Solicitor (Director) who provides exceptional support. A dedicated legal secretary and a trainee solicitor will also be there to assist you.
- Benefit from a supportive and collaborative work environment where peer-to-peer support is readily available. The firm has a sister branch in Newcastle and a local office for added support.
- Collaborate with various teams such as Marketing, Finance, and Senior Executives within the firm.
- Minimum of 2 years PQE in family law with a focus on both public and private law, along with a good understanding of Legal Aid.
- Strong advocacy skills are preferred to handle less complex hearings independently.
- Opportunities for developing advocacy skills will be provided.
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law files efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Family Team.
- Maintain excellent file management and represent clients in Court.
- Ensure timely LAA claims and deliver a top-notch client experience.
