    We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic graduate teacher of MFL from September 2024 to join a highly successful department in a selective school that has been rated by Ofsted as outstanding for over a decade. This is an opportunity to work in a friendly environment which encourages professional development. This permanent post is part time We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

    Language College Status has had a profound impact on the school and all students take two languages at GCSE from a wide range. Furthermore, all students take at least one MFL at Key Stage 5 as part of their study of the International Baccalaureate. The MFL Department has effective partnerships with other secondary and local primary schools. The department comprises 16 well qualified subject specialists and contributes significantly to the vibrant extra-curricular life of the school through the many trips, clubs and excursions it delivers.

    We currently offer French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach two from French, German, Spanish or Italian, with ideally one language to Key Stage 5.
