Immediate

Van, tools and fuel card all provided.

Contract Length:
Ongoing, with potential for permanent employment

Hourly Rate:
£15.23 (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)


Are you a skilled and reliable maintenance professional with a full UK driving license and a passion for enhancing communal living spaces? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Mobile Handyman / Handywoman / Handyperson / Caretaker.


About the Role:


As a Mobile Handyman / Handywoman / Handyperson / Caretaker, you will be responsible for conducting general repairs and maintenance in communal areas across multiple social housing estates in East London.

This role offers a supportive work environment, a collaborative team, and ample opportunities for growth and development within our organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting general minor repairs and maintenance tasks in communal areas, including painting/decorating, fencing repairs, lock replacements, stair banister repairs, sign installations, slab replacements, and garden clearance.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Requirements:


  • Full UK driving license with 6 points or less.
  • Clear basic DBS dated within the last year (if not available, we can assist with obtaining one).
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance role is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours:


  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (35 hours per week, including a 1hour lunch break).
