Youth Worker

Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking to take on an experienced Youth Worker who is looking to transfer their skills into an educational setting.

For this role you will be required to support small groups of 6-8 students in and outof the classroom.

All of the students you will be working with will have some form of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

Due to the students needs they will be working at a lower level than their age and will have behavioural outbursts when they arefinding it hard to mange their emotional or express themselves.

You will be required to support these students during their lessons and manage any behaviour when it happens.

Therefore, the ideal Youth Worker for this role will need to have had previous experienceworking with young people with mental health and behavioural needs and be able to build a strong rapport.

SEMH School

This SEMH School is located in the London borough of Bromley and caters for girls and boys aged between 5-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

They currently have 200 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewedas 'Outstanding' in all area.
