    Experience working within childcare is essentialCherryWood Nursery who are part of the Family First Group are looking for Nursery Bank Staff to join their team on a flexible basis. This will be a 0 hour contract. Our nursery is open from 8.00am - 18:00pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times.


    As Bank Staff, you will:
    Assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
    • Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
    • Work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
    • Always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
    • Contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.
    • Liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific needs and requirements.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.\Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.As Bank Staff, you will need:
    • Fluent in written and spoken English – essential.
    • Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable.
    • Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years – desirable.
    • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable.
