    All successful applicants must hold, or be eligible & willing to obtain, UK Security Clearance (SC) with the view to progressing to higher level clearance if required.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    As a Programme Manager at CGI, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of inter-related projects and workstreams to deliver the agreed business outcomes for our client. You will be responsible for the achievement of the programme objectives which include business outcomes as well as the individual project deliverables.

    Key Activities:

    In this Programme Manager role, you will lead portfolios of projects, and:

    • Deliver the programme to time, budget and quality achieving the agreed outcomes.

    • Establish and maintain an effective management and leadership structure.

    • Manage and report to senior internal stakeholders.

    • Manage the client relationship at senior IT and business levels.

    • Secure additional business

    • Utilise your strong experience of managing teams of people with ability to communicate strategy clearly, to motivate and inspire teams to achieve together

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    We're looking for a range of the following skills and experiences:

    • Experience of at least one lifecycle (e.g. waterfall, agile, consultancy), ideally multiple

    • Practitioner level qualification such as MSP

    • Professional ScrumMaster (PSM I) for Agile Projects

    • Membership of a Professional Programme Management organisation

    • Delegates effectively and appropriately.

    • Balances the needs of the programme with the career development aspirations of members.

    • Establishes a performance management culture so that all team members have clear objectives and receive regular and constructive feedback.

    • Facilitates and recognises talent, potential and performance improvement.

    • Coaches and mentors senior team members to improve personal and project performance.

    • Pro-actively manages non-compliance and non-performance of team members consistent with the needs of the wider Business Unit.
