    Job Description

    The Security Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and providing 3rd-level support for the law firm's information technology infrastructure. Their main focus is on protecting data, systems, and facilities to ensure the firm's integrity and confidentiality in compliance with organizational policies and standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Architect, implement, and support necessary solutions for the protection of firm assets.
    • Assist in developing security awareness and training programs.
    • Provide input on security policies and procedures.
    • Utilize security tools to identify issues and ensure compliance.
    • Maintain security-related information repositories.
    • Report on compliance with security policies.
    • Perform security risk assessments and report compliance failures.
    • Participate in IT disaster recovery and continuity planning.
    • Act as an internal security consultant and support resource.
    • Implement necessary controls and support security applications.
    • Capable of handling equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
    Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
    • Experience with Wide Area and Local Area Networks.
    • Thorough knowledge of data communications and systems.
    • Ability to analyze and provide solutions to complex problems.
    • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
