    FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK.

    We're on the lookout for a Retail Trainer to join a leading skills provider, who deliver apprenticeships across the UK. The role will see you working with a caseload of apprentices who are conducting their Level 2,3 & 4 Retail apprenticeships.

    My client will consider either qualified apprenticeship Coaches/Trainers who have worked in similar roles, or are also happy to look at unqualified candidates who have worked in a Retail managerial capacity, who might want to go into training. For any unqualified candidates my client will put you through an assessing qualification (CAVA).

    You will be assigned a caseload of apprentices who are located across the Northampton area. To be considered you MUST drive and have your own vehicle and be happy travelling across Northampton to conduct face to face sessions with the learners (all mileage paid for).

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


    • Visiting individuals in their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to teach and support learners to achieve their apprenticeship


    • Managing your own diary to ensure you are delivering against your KPIs, planning and attending scheduled visits with apprentices to ensure they progress in line with their expected programme duration


    • To ensure employers/learner mentors are engaged in the apprentices learning and progress, supporting them to achieve their potential


    • Identity and engage potential employers and enrol learners onto apprenticeship programmes
    • The training, assessment, progression and completion of learners which will be delivered through face to face and remote learning sessions in line with agreed delivery models


    • To effectively diary manage to ensure all learners within your caseload are fully supported to meet company and contractual requirements KPI's/Key Deliverables:


    • Achievement of targeted timely success rates


    • Maintain a caseload in line with company targets
    • Retention of learners against agreed company targets


    • Accurate recording of learner progression within Maytas system Candidate Requirements:


    • GCSEs English and Maths C or above (or an equivalent qualification)
    • Relevant industry related qualifications such as HND or NVQ's (desirable)


    • CAVA qualification (desirable) Award in Education and Training (desirable)

    – Salary £26,855 rising to £27,396 after probation + additional benefits
