    Description

    The Best Connection are is looking for a Inflight Warehouse Operative with a Forklift licence to work at our busy clients Warehouse to support its development in London Gatwick airport.


    CONTRACT:
    Full time, Starting


    ASAP

    SALARY:
    £14.06 per hour.


    SHIFTS :
    Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday


    BENEFITS:

    Roles and Responsibilities

    To check all products when receiving delivery for quality, quantity, date and temperature.
    Ensuring it is put into the correct warehouse or departmental location.
    Ensuring stock levels are maintained.
    Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life both in the warehouse and in the unit.
    Ensuring COSHH and HACCP are adhered to at all times.
    Ensuring unit compliance with Food safety regulations- paperwork, FIFO, stock rotation, stock labelling.
    Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
    Liaising with operations and purchasing department queries.
    Conduct stock counts as requested per Counts schedule.
    Ensuring tidiness and high standards of the warehouse, freezer and fridges.
    Ensuring CAA compliance, seals and other security stock control and management.

    Skills and Knowledge

    Valid Forklift driving license essential.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Good level of numeracy and literacy.
    Good team work skills.
    Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements.
    Self-motivation, commitment and enthusiasm and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

    Essential Requirements

    Have a full 5-year vetting checkable history (Obtained for you by us)
    Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
    Provide a full 5-year address history
    The minimum age requirement to conduct this role is 18 years, and you must be a UK resident with the valid right to work in the UK
    If you have lived outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will need to provide an Overseas Police Check

    • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
