    Description

    Wayman Education is looking for a Year 3 teacher in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire This is an opportunity to work within an Outstanding primary school in East of England.

    The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

    This is an inspirational two-form entry school in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. It is easily accessible by public transport and seeking to appoint a qualified Primary teacher from April 2024. The school has a Good Ofsted rating. The school is happy to consider applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. The school has a wonderful supportive culture and is an excellent place for both, students, and staff members.


    KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:
    Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire KS2 students to reach their full potential
    Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of KS2 students' academic performance
    Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
    Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for KS2 students
    Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
    Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
    Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment


    Year 3 Teacher requirements:
    QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
    Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
    Passionate about learning
    Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 3 environment
    Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
    Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
