This role is open to people from a range of backgrounds, we are looking for people who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who struggle in a mainstream environment.

You can be from a support work or teaching assistant background or a similar job.

About Us:

Classroom Recruiters is thrilled to partner with a dynamic child service provider, offering an exciting permanent role for a Behaviour Mentor.

This role involves working with children across various ages (KS3, KS4, KS5) at specialized sites in Newark, including libraries, outdoor vocational areas, and alternative schools, all meticulously designed to provide a supportive and transformative environment.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor a bonus but not essential.
  • Must possess an uptodate DBS on the update service.
  • Fulltime availability starting November 27th.
  • Valid driving license and confidence in transporting children when needed (fuel costs covered).
  • A passion for building strong relationships with children and young adults in care.

Qualifications:


  • Level 1 Teaching Assistant or equivalent in Health or Social Care a bonus but not essential.

Bonus Skills:
