    Description

    The Estates department is responsible for overseeing the satisfactory day to day operations of the College estate. The post will manage business support staff teams, including Caretakers and maintenance and administration to ensure the provision of a robust, efficient and quality service to all College users, support all the estate being fit for purpose and will lead on formulating the College's Estates strategy and policies.

    The role will promote health, safety and wellbeing for staff and students and visitors ensuring that teaching, learning and other College related activities take place in a healthy and safe environment, that is compliant with College Health and Safety policy and procedures.

    The post holder will also undertake the management, administration and coordination of all sport development, student sport enrichment and sports academies at the college programmes at the college.

    Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group and is one of London's most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old's and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due to develop a brand-new technology-focussed STEM Centre for 2024.

    This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
