    Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate hands on experience and the ability to specifically deliver projects.

    You will need to be currently or recently involved in the operational delivery of small and large copper and fibre infrastructure works.

    If you are a senior or lead supervisor, this could be a great role for you. You must be able to gain security clearance and ideally have a background in Defence/Telecoms/Data Comms.

    Highly successful in the delivery of large-scale corporate connectivity solutions within existing, new build and refurbishment environments, our customer is delivering across campus, office, warehouse, factory and CDM environments.

    Experienced in the management and safe delivery of cabling services within Aerospace, Sea and Land Systems Manufacturing, Defence, Health, and Data Centre sectors.

    As a Project Manager you will in the main be required to work in the key operating location, as required extending into Secondary operating regions and from time to time work throughout the UK, with the possibility of occasional overseas work.

    Travel and overnight stays will be necessary to meet business needs.

    You will be able to demonstrate good experience in the successful delivery of a wide range of cabling infrastructure projects in various environment such as office, manufacturing, construction, Data Centres.

    You will possess hands on experience of data network cabling installation standards and practices.
    It is recognised that knowledge and experience in all JD aspects may not initially be held by the candidate.

    The key interview attributes assessed will be the extent of your knowledge, practical and technical ability and experience in works management, stakeholder management and importantly your flexibility and desire to do what is needed to deliver cabling solutions to the customer base.

    The successful candidate will be joining this team and importantly will demonstrate a strong sense of pride in your work with high focus on delivering quality installations 'right first time'.Job Purpose Responsibility for the overall delivery and for the financial accountability for projects that typically require the management of a Project team and/or Site Supervisor(s ) and/or subcontractors.

    Complete ownership and accountability of the delivery lifecycle from works request, survey and quotation, installation delivery, handover, documentation, contractor control, stakeholder management and customer satisfaction.

    Delivery of works in accordance with Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Procedures, Industry standards, Client and MOD standards, fully meeting Client expectations; to target and budget requirements.

    Ensuring the quality standards of both installations and service delivery as well as increasing revenue potential, and profitability and ensuring client retention and growth.

    Role Requirements − Thorough knowledge and experience of Project Management Methodology.− Experienced in the installation and testing of copper and fibre physical network infrastructure and the installation of containment, with a minimum of 8 – 10 years in the industry.− Good understanding of structured cabling systems and the associated British Standards and Industry Standards.− Good understanding of JSP604 Leaflet 4800 Regulations for the Installation of Communications Technology (formerly JSP480) is desirable but not essential.− Good understanding of Tempest / security regulations is desirable but not essential.− Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environment legislation, including current Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.− Able to conduct site surveys and provide design / solution based on the survey, including associated survey documentation, method statement, risk assessment, bill of materials, costings, quotation etc.− Ability to commercially track projects.− Excellent project planning and people management skills.− Excellent technical datacomms knowledge & understanding.− The ability to delegate tasks and motivate teams to achieve their goals.− Good internal and external communication skills both written and oral.− Ability to work and manage in high-pressure and time-critical situations.− Ability to deliver results, think around potential obstacles and meet objectives.− Analytical and be able to diagnose system faults / potential installation issues and recommend solutions.− Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience in presenting to Clients.− Experience in dealing with people at all levels within an organisation.− Commercial awareness in dealing with any contractual issues.− Capable of managing resource, including in-house and subcontractors.− Willing to travel and work on-site on an as needed basis within the UK and Europe.

    Summary Flexible approach to working hours to suit business need, including out of hours, public holidays and weekends if required.

    Good IT skills in order to generate project documentation, including the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
    Good organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task.
    A team player & adaptable.
    CTPM / CNIDP / C&G qualifications are desirable but not essential.
    A recognised Health and Safety qualification such as SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH is desirable but not essential.

    Professional, with excellent communication, negotiating skills, ability to control project finances and used to working within a highly pressured customer orientated organisation.

    A highly motivated self-starter with initiative and a flexible attitude to work.

    Both within and outside of the role, carrying out other various operational and business support activities that may be required to deliver existing, evolving and new business opportunities.
