Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?
Hargate Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager for a new children home in Oldham, Manchester. The service is home to four young people aged 10 to 18 years' old with behaviours that challenge.

The Role of Deputy Manager

We are looking to hire a Deputy Manager to work alongside the Home Manager to deliver high standards of care, leadership, and child protection.

To act as a role model, portraying a positive, professional image to build positive relationships.

Supporting theHome Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, coordinating, supervising, directing, and facilitating the team in delivering high standards of care while ensuring the children and young people receive physical, psychological, emotional,and social support.

Deputy Manager Requirements:


  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience of managing a team
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a Children's Home
