    We're currently looking for a Financial Controller on a full time permanent basis. This position sits within the Finance Department who are based in Glasgow, however our successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK and we can offer both hybrid and remote working arrangements.

    The job

    Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be a key part of the global financial control team, working with the group controller and the regional financial control teams internationally. The role will involve the following:

    • Management of the group accounting team (General ledger, fixed/ intangible assets, projects, intercompany, group consolidations)
    • Managing key financial policies and ensuring these remain relevant and appropriate for the group
    • Owning key financial processes, developing continuous improvement goals and ensuring controls operate effectively
    • Responsible for the delivery of month-end, year-end, and global consolidations
    • Responsible for the development and production of key financial performance reports
    • Support the preparation of year-end accounts for UK subsidiary companies
    • Support the delivery of the group and subsidiary audits

    The person

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has a professional accountancy qualification
    • Has experience of leading and motivating accounting teams in large or global organisations
    • Has experience working with D365 F&O modules
    • Has demonstrable experience delivering reporting via excel data models and Power BI
    • Has a continuous improvement mindset
