    VANRATH is exclusively partnering with a leading food manufacturer located in Ballymena, with the appointment of a brand new HRBP role.

    The company in question is a FTSE 250 listed plc, recognised as being one of the best food manufacturing companies in the UK, who supply some of the UK's top retailers, restaurants and food to go chains with a range of fabulous products.

    The HR Business Partner will assist the HR Manager in providing the most efficient and effective HR Service to the site.

    You will help drive the HR and L&D strategy for the site in line with the current business plan and support the HR function in providing a comprehensive, professional and customer-focused HR service to employees and managers on operational requirements and business plan objectives.

    You will also run HR projects with other members of the HR and L&D team, such as health and wellbeing, reward and recognition, ED&I, etc.

    Support the HR Manager to implement the Site HR & Learning and Development strategy in accordance with the Site 5 year Business plan
    Provide an effective and responsive recruitment procedure for site with a strong onboarding practice
    Assess and proactively manage current and future manpower planning needs for Site that can be flexible to meet change and minimize overtime requirement
    Maintain and continuously improve daily, weekly, monthly and yearly KPIs with HR Manager and capture these on KPI Report
    Manage ER case management and support the other HRBPs as required, ensuring the business remains legally compliant.

    Able to proactively challenge managers to ensure consistent, fair, and commercially viable outcomes are achieved from site teams in all areas of people management.

    Advise management teams on elements of employment law including the Equality Act, etc.
    Work collaboratively with schools, colleges and other career promotion organisations to educate and attract young people towards apprenticeships, graduate placements and opportunities at site
    Assist the HR Manager and Group HR and Training teams to support role out of Learning Management System at Site
    Compile and maintain site wide TNA (Training Needs Analysis)
    Ensure that all statutory, legal, food safety and compliance training is managed and kept up to date
    Ensure all LMS Mandatory training are completed by all employees. Support Apprenticeship and Graduate programmes onsite
    Assist the annual performance review process and ensure all performance documents are logged, training needs analysed and development plans put in place
    3rd Level Qualification in HR or a relevant subject
