Frodsham - 45k - Financial Accountant

This is a full time role with flexible working arrangements and hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with production of UK statutory accounts for over 100 companies (both small and large entities)
  • Production of consolidated Group statutory accounts and related notes
  • Production of technical accounting papers for the yearend audit
  • Working closely with divisional finance teams to guide and advise on technical issues that may arise during the annual audits
  • Assist the Financial Accounting Manager and the wider group finance team with the implementation of consolidation software and other adhoc projects
  • Working with the Financial Accounting Manager on M&A projects, specifically ensuring that business combinations entered into during the year are correctly accounted for

Person Specification:

  • ACA/ACCA newly qualified
  • External audit background with experience of working with large groups
  • Experience of statutory accounts preparation under FRS 10
  • Good understanding of large group consolidations, including FX
