    Hours: 21 hours per week including weekend working to 23.30pm

    About the Library:

    SOAS Library is the UK's National Research Library for the study of Asia and Africa and attracts scholars from around the world. The library has holdings of 1.3 million volumes in Western and vernacular languages. The Library has unique historical, special and contemporary collections for study and research of these regions.

    About the Role

    The role will work with colleagues in Library Access & Discovery team to ensure seamless access and discovery of SOAS' unique collections to enable learning, teaching and research. The role works at the weekend, when the post holder will ensure that expert specialist assistance and support for learning, teaching and research are provided to library users both online and in person. The postholder will work flexibly with Reader Services colleagues. The role will act as senior person in charge for weekend shifts, a role shared with Reader Services Team Leaders.
