Job Title:
Multi Trade Operative

Salary:
Temp-To-Perm. £18ph Temp rate for 13 weeks. £32,499 Permanent Salary

Van + Fuel Card Included

Main Purpose of Job - To complete works in relation to repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works in accordance with trade qualifications. Your role will require you to execute all elements of selected core trade to NVQ level 2 and have secondary trade skills to completely renew a kitchen and bathroom without the need for additional support with the exception of specialist Electrical or Gas trades unless qualified.

Specific Tasks

To execute works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist other trade operatives to fulfill their work orders.
Be able to organize workload and complete works in accordance with trade standards and current Building Regulations.
Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed first time as reasonably practicable.
Ensure selection and procurement of materials for the execution of the works are correct, appropriate and sufficient to standards to avoid any disputes in relation to the finished product.
To report any issues which may cause damage to the reputation of the organisation.
To assist in the development of new and existing apprentices.
Participate as a multi skilled operative in the delivery of an effective out of hours' emergency repair service on a rota system.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all tools, equipment in your possession are inspected daily prior to use (It is your duty to report any deficiencies with tools and equipment.)
Ensure that your vehicle is inspected daily prior to use. Any issues are to be reported to the Supervisor or Repairs manager. It will be your duty to arrange for servicing to the vehicle as applicable.
Ensure risk assessments and other documentation are completed in accordance with standards.

Performance

Ensure you perform to or exceed the agreed standards.
Ensure you are trained to a suitable standard and that all your accreditations & certification requirements are up to date.
Ensure your vehicle is clean, serviced and MOT'd as required.
Ensure all KPI's are met including productivity levels, quality of work, 'right first time', recalls and appointments kept. This list is not exhaustive.
