- GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register

Job summary
The post holder will provide clinical expertise to the Digital Solutions for Data and Analytics Programme of the ICB, as well as provide expertise on broader issues relating to information governance. Given the important role of General Practitioners as data controllers under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this role must be held by a Registered General Practitioner.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the primary care voice is heard and represented in the development, design and implementation of digital solutions. They will have strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, and will be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the system. The postholder should have experience and expertise as a Clinical Safety Officer and will be expected to lead the clinical risk assessments of digital solutions.
