    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for part time (36 hours) Ward Clerk on the Acute Medical Unit at Fairfield General Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

    Main duties of the job

    Your role will involve clerical duties to enable the unit to run smoothly. General duties will include filing, handling medical notes, answering the telephone and greeting patients and relatives.

    You will possess a good standard of education and have experience of working within a busy customer focussed environment.
