    Subsea7 are seeking a SAP Success Factors Deployment Lead to join our team in Westhill, Aberdeen on an initial 6 month contract.

    Subsea7 are embarking on a SAP Success Factors (SF) Transformation programme which involves replacing the current ECC solution with SAP Success Factors (SF) together with the associated business process changes across Recruitment/Onboarding, Success/Career Development, Performance/Goals, Employee Central, Compensation and VAR Pay,

    and Learning Management (LMS).

    The transformation will be a multi-year programme following a Greenfield, Fit to Standard approach.

    The strategic aim is to deliver a globally standard set of processes and associated data through the modern SF cloud application leading to improved efficiency and operation of the business and providing valuable business insights from increased visualisation, analytics and automation.

    Subsea7 will engage a Service Integrator (SI) and Change Management organisation to work with our IT and Business teams to design, build, test and deploy this business transformation programme.

    The SAP SF Deployment Lead role will provide leadership, management for planning and successful execution of multi-region SAP deployments. The candidate will require to work closely with project team personnel, delivery partners and key business stakeholders.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and collate and document all Deployment Strategy information required for the SAP SF Transformation programme
  • Support the design, build and test of 3rd party application integrations into SAP SF and other sub systems
  • Manage the deployment of 3rd party application integrations to SAP SF for multi-region deployments
  • Define, develop and implement a detailed plan for all cutover activities within a SAP SF deployment
  • Provide regular status update to the programme manager and senior management, of all activities agreed against the cutover plan.
  • Work with S7 tech/business teams to establish the go-no go criteria in line with the deployment plan
  • Work with S7 to define the deployment/cutover governance framework
  • Lead the preparation of the service introduction plan and be integral in the setup of support organisations
  • Lead the cutover planning of configuration of all FO/EO and loading of employee records into SF
  • Manage technical Go-live, such as business communication, ramp up/ ramp down activities, interim processes, 3rd party activities, final data migration (FO/EO)
  • Lead S7 to develop, create and execute the cutover plan. This should include a details step by step set of activities, that will transition all business config and processes at the point of cutover
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issue resolution to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the cutover planning and delivery
  • Ensures entry into and exit out of cutover stage gates are met including the final Go/No-Go meetings
  • Lead the SF knowledge transfer on project technical and functional to support the organisation
  • Manage and define readiness criteria Go/No-Go decision process for SI/S7 owned services/deliverables
  • Manage assessment readiness for Go/No-Go decision with SI/S7
  • Lead the preparation and execution cutover governance including programme reporting and communication with key stakeholders
  • Lead the conduct Dress Rehearsals (DR events) for both S7/SI cutover activities as defined and outlined in the cutover plan
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging cutover issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, timeframes, and other relevant project priorities
  • Provides cutover status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders
  • Support cutover communications, checkpoint processes and logistics to ensure smooth delivery against the plan
  • Drive continuous improvement for repeatable successful cutover delivery for each region
  • Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in managing complex SAP Success Factors system deployments
  • Experience in planning business and technical cutover activities
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of SAP deployment best practices
  • Experience of working with and managing an SI partner
  • Prior experience of managing the delivery of 3rd party deployment and cutover to SAP Success Factors
  • Strong business influencing skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills and can interface across a spectrum of stakeholders
  • Pro-active, self-driven, forward looking and collaborative
  • Knowledge of project management methods, such as PRINCE2 and PMP
