    We're currently seeking MSK Physiotherapists for the Newtownabbey area.

  • Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent is essential
  • Minimum 18 months post registration experience essential to include a minimum of 6 months post registration in clinical management of MSK outpatients
  • HCPC registration essential
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
  • Driving licence essential
  • Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
  • Evidence of post graduate training (Formal Course) or CPD (In service Training) relevant to the management of musculoskeletal conditions and pain within the biopsychosocial model of care
  • A willingness to undertake further specialist training in MSK care is favourable
  • A strong knowledge of MSK outpatient care, long-term conditions, management of MSK patients etc.

  • Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
  • Responsibilities

  • Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of MSK patients
  • Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessment of patients and formulate individualised management and treatment plans
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner
  • Identify clinical problems and use clinical reasoning skills to establish patient-centred goals and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
  • Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
