As the Special Educational NeedsCoordinator (SENCo) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring everychild receives the support they need to thrive academically andsocially.

    As thePrimary SENCo youwill:

    • Be at the forefront of designingimplementing and evaluating effective strategies to support thelearning and development of children with special educationalneeds.
    • Work closely with classroom teachers tocreate inclusive learning environments and adapt teaching methodsto meet the diverse needs of ourstudents.
    • Develop and oversee personalizedsupport plans ensuring they are tailored to each childs uniquestrengths and challenges.
    • Foster strongpartnerships with parents and guardians providing regular updateson their childs progress and offering guidance on how they cansupport their childs learning at home.
    • Provideongoing training and support for staff to enhance theirunderstanding of special educational needs fostering a culture ofinclusivity within the schoolcommunity.
    • Regularly assess the impact of SENprovision collecting and analysing data to make informed decisionsand continuously improve supportservices.

    Requirementsfor this SENCoRole:

    • Qualified teacherstatus (QTS) and relevant SENCo qualification or equivalentexperience.
    • Proven experience working withstudents with special educational needs or disabilities in a schoolsetting.
    • Strong knowledge of SEN legislationpolicies and best practices.
    • Excellentcommunication interpersonal and collaborativeskills.
    • Ability to lead and inspire colleaguesin fostering an inclusive learningenvironment.
    • Commitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment and reflectivepractice.
