Estimator - Transportation Team

We're looking for an Estimator to join our Transportation team based in the Southeast to prepare estimates for major civil engineering projects including large structural refurbishment schemes in accordance with Kier's estimating systems and procedures.

Location: Southeast - some remote working available, with travel to the office required
Contract: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £45k - £55k + company car + private healthcare + benefits

Responsibilities

1. Review and understand the project concept and detailed developed designs
2. Prepare estimates of works from First principal pricing
3. Engage and obtain specialist sub-contractor and suppliers quotes
4. Identify and Analyse Risk and opportunities
5. Present and discuss tender submission with Clients

What are we looking for?

This role of Estimator is great if you have:

• Civil engineering background / Engineering degree qualification or equivalent
• Knowledge of NEC forms of Contract
• Experienced in use of estimating software
• Experience with Structural repair/refurbishment schemes
