Phoenix Dosimetry are a specialist supplier of Radiation Monitoring systems based in Sandhurst. We are the UK's leading supplier of radiation dosimetry systems which are used by Hospitals, industrial, nuclear and research facilities.

The Lead Field Service Engineer will be responsible for service visits, call outs and installations at customers premesis approximately 2 days a week. Along with repairs and manufacturing at out base in Sandhurst approx. 3 days a week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Be self-motivated and exhibit a "can do" attitude
Attend customer sites and perform routine, preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.
To carry out installation and commissioning of equipment at customers sites in UK and Ireland
Flexibility to support customers and when necessary attend customer sites at short notice and out of normal working hours when required
Maintain accurate records of mechanical changes and write up change logs
To maintain and improve upon personal skills related to the position, through experience and training
Act as first line support for any technical issues
Promote the Phoenix product line when liaising with customers and support the sales team with quotations.

Key Skills and Competencies

Previous Mechanical and Electronics experience
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
Mechanical fitting skills
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Ability to wire to drawing
Good diagnostic skills and logical fault finding ability
Prepared to travel and work independently.
Full UK driving licence
Prepared to undergo security clearance

40 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9-5
