Our client in Christchurch is currently recruiting experienced Temporary Care Workers.

You will be working in a small, friendly care home close to Fisherman's Bank and the Nature Reserve at Stanpit Marsh.

Mudeford Quay is a short walk away, making this alovely place to care for individuals. Excellent local amenities and good public transport links.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist in the direct care provision of all aspects of the service users assessed needs, which may include;
To assist residents in washing, dressing and undressing.
To participate in the basic nursing care of the residents under the supervision of trained staff e.g. bed bathing, pressure area, mouth care, and eye care.
To assist the residents with their toileting needs, including continence promotion.
To change beds, tidy residents' rooms and do light cleaning.
To empty aids, where appropriate.
To assist with problems with mobility, including those of mobility aids, where appropriate.
To help in the serving of meals and drinks, feeding those residents who are unable to feed themselves and ensuring that each resident receives the meal or diet that he/she has requested and is suitable for his/her needs.

About You:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll play such an important role in the everyday activities and needs of the residents you work with.

Working as part of one team of nursing and care professionals, you'll understand what matters to every resident, so you cantailor the way you care for them.

Helping them live as independently as possible.

People skills, attention to detail, respect for the past and hopes for the future. These are the qualities we look for in every Healthcare Assistant. You'll bring a 'one team' attitude that means you'll be happy to share the responsibility with your teammates.
