Quality Inspector - Goods in reporting to the Head of Quality.

Key responsibilities of Quality Inspector:

Inspecting raw materials, goods in and finished goods.

Inspection of mechanical products to confirm compliance to drawing and customer specification requirements.

Undertaking visual inspections and using
mechanical inspection equipment and tools.

Support continual Improvement.

Record keeping:
Maintenance and updating of inspection records.

Perform tests on products to ensure customer specifications are being met and company quality standards are met.

Requirements for Quality Inspector role:

Knowledge and experience of BS EN ISO 9001 desirable.

Experience in manufacturing environment and strong hands-on inspection experience, using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers etc.

Understanding of drawings including wiring diagrams.

Ability to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
