    Our client is an exciting womenswear mid market brand who have been successful in carving out a niche in the market. They have a strong brand ethos and identity, and they are on a strong growth trajectory with great success over recent years.

    We are looking for a PD Assistant / Co-ordinator for their team. This is a great role for someone with experience in the industry who is looking to take their step to work within a growing brand and continue with their career.

    I am open to speak to candidates who are working in a supplier or a brand within PD / Production or Sales.

    Providing support to the Buying Manager, Key responsibilities include:

    • Work closely with the team, providing excellent administrative support across all areas.
    • Be able to set up and update the costings sheets, ensuring all changes are documented.
    • Work to product launch dates and following up on sampling to ensure these dates are maintained.
    • Work across departments and supporting with sample management and co-ordination, as well as maintenance of the sample library.
    • Liaise daily with key suppliers through the critical path on product development, keeping the team updated on any issues that may arise.
    • Work closely with the production teams on correct labelling requirements.
    • System management and maintain key style files and updating all relevant items through the critical path, including PO management.

    We are looking for someone who has:

    • Good communication skills, being able to effectively communicate across the business.
    • will have a diligent and well organised work ethic, be a self-starter and motivated as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
    • have experience in costings and price negotiations.
    • Have a flexible approach to your work and the business, be a key team player and adapt as required.
    • Have a positive "can-do" attitude, be decisive with a strong commercial awareness.
    • You must have experience within a similar role (either buying, product development or production) within womenswear clothing and be able to come in and hit the ground running.
