**Temporary Senior Finance Officer

25 hours
East Belfast**Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a charitable organisation based in East Belfast. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a parttime basis. This role will be temporary initially,however a permanent appointment will be made dependent upon performance within the role.

Job duties:

Assist in the preparation of management accounts and budgets
Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll/pensions and to respond to any enquiries
To assist the Head of Finance & Corporate Services in preparing the monthly accounts and annual statutory financial accounts
Liaise with HMRC as and when required
Managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers
Supplier statement reconciliations
Petty cash management
Ensure bank accounts are reconciled, and accruals and prepayments are calculated monthly
Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
General finance and administrative related duties

Essential Criteria:
Foundation level qualification in a recognised Accountancy Body (e.g. ICAI/ ICAEW/ ICAS/ ACCA/CIMA/ CIPFA), Full IATI/AAT qualification, or 5 years' recent experience in a financial role if you do not possess relevant qualification.

Salary:

£31,000 per annum pro rata

Hours of work
25 hours per week, and flexible regarding shift pattern
