Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias

£40,300 Per Annum - OTE £48,000 Per Annum

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a number of Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to work at their facility based near Chirk

Performance Objectives

Providing front line maintenance support to a specific area of an industry leading plant, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in a timely manner
Assist maintenance/production staff in determining and eliminating root causes for unscheduled downtime
Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled
Perform unplanned breakdown maintenance in a safe, effective and efficient manner

Person Specification

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including fault finding and rectification
Experience with a range of drive systems, large and small (Motors, gearboxes etc.)

Minimum skill/Qualification requirements:

You will be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
A 'Handson' individual, you will also positive, with a 'cando' approach to your work
