At ECB GROUP, we are looking for a Project Developer profile to join a leading company in the sustainable infrastructure sector. Focused on renewable energy, their purpose is to generate a positive impact on society and the environment. With operations in several countries from Europe, America and Africa, their global presence enables them to positively impact diverse communities.

They are currently looking for a dynamic individual for the role of Project Developer to strengthen their UK team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of the UK business, reporting to the Vice President of the company. The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Cultivate robust connections within the UK and oversee the ongoing projects to optimise operational time, energy output, and income, thereby enhancing cash flow generation.
• Develop a portfolio of future projects by forming strategic alliances with developers and fostering in-house initiatives, while seeking out and seizing opportunities for enhancements and cost reductions, supported by the company's centralised departments.
• Finalise agreements for energy purchasers using Contracts for Difference (CFDs) or alternative arrangements as projects mature, and guarantee adherence to both local statutes and the organisation's guidelines, with assistance from central corporate teams.

What do we need?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or area related to the functions of the position.
• From approximately 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in development and/or project management within the renewable energy sector.
• Availability for frequent travel, primarily in the UK.
