Resident Safety Co-ordinator
37 hours per week

Up to £30,000 per annum

Do you have experience in Compliance with an understanding of Gas Processes? Are you methodical, organised process driven, with an eye for detail?

We are looking for a Resident Safety Co-ordinator to join our Resident Safety Team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring Worthing Homes adherence to statutory regulations and standards concerning property and landlord health and safety.

You will work closely with contractors to ensure they meet the expected compliance standards, coordinate and monitor compliance inspections and servicing and maintaining our asset management system with the latest data on general stock condition, energy and compliance.


The role presents a great opportunity to use your knowledge and experience of compliance, contractor management and gas processes to deliver outstanding service to our customers, working with them to ensure compliance with regulations.

You'll also get the opportunity to use your analytical skills to get under the skin of our systems, data and processes to seek out opportunities for improvement and automation.


Key responsibilities:


  • Organise periodic compliance inspections to ensure they are completed ontime in line with relevant policies and procedures. Highlighting any actions or remedial works with the surveying team
  • Arrange works with appropriate contractors ensuring the works are completed within the specified target completion dates
  • Conduct analysis of compliance and provide regular compliance reports
  • Maintain the asset management system to ensure that property and component / equipment information is complete, accurate and upto date.
  • Keep abreast of any changes in relevant legislation
  • Support the team with the monitoring of the energy efficiency of the housing stock and in the development and organisation of a rolling programme of stock condition surveys.

About You:


  • You must be an effective communicator and have strong telephone and written skills
  • You will have experience in a customer facing role
  • You will have proven experience working in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role
  • You will have an understanding of health and safety regulations, specifically gas
  • You must be highly organised and able to prioritise a varied workload amongst competing demands
  • You will be adept with technology, digitally curious and competent at using systems including Microsoft 365 and mobile working equipment.
