The chosen candidate should be a capable, adaptable, and dependable professional who has a sincere desire to work with children and adolescents.

You are not required to have a degree in teaching to be considered for this position. Those who are willing to work with children as caregivers are welcome. The school offers children an amazing educational experience, and they place a strong emphasis on both academic performance and overall well-being. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:

• Develop strong, trusting relationships with pupils by fostering their confidence and trust.
• Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with everyone. This applies to students, co-workers and parents.
• Motivate all pupils to learn and perform to their full ability.
• Work as a team, pushing and encouraging students' success. Help the teacher with lesson design, development, and delivery.
• Helping teachers create lesson plans
• Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process
• Making sure classrooms are safe and tidy

For the Teaching Assistant role, the deserving candidate must:

• Be committed to child safety
• Possess a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Meet GSL's safer recruiting background checks
• Be flexible, enthusiastic, and like working with young people from all backgrounds
