About the role:


We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to be responsible for providing HR support, advice and guidance to the Employee Benefit, Wealth Management and Commercial HR division.

You will be supporting with all areas of HR including the management of employee relations, supporting with development, being first point of contact for all HR queries, onboarding, offboarding and inductions plus various HR admin tasks and adhoc project work.


Overview of duties:


  • Business partnering with the leaders of the EB, Wealth and Commercial HR divisions to drive the NFP PeopleFirst culture.
  • Undertaking and managing employee relations including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary and grievances with escalation to the HR Operations Manager as appropriate
  • Identify opportunities and develop plans with the business to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Support and coach managers to encourage and raise performance throughout their teams
  • Act as a coach to managers developing and building leadership capability and people management competency.
  • Support the delivery of the annual performance and bonus reviews to ensure a fair and consistent approach across organization.
  • Managing changes to terms and conditions of employment and ensuring timely communication to payroll team
  • Lead with HR team on DEIB and health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support the recruitment process and work closely with the talent acquisition team to ensure high quality hiring, onboarding, and inductions.
  • Support the implementation of talent management and succession planning activities.
  • Review, improve and monitor existing HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Supporting organisational design reviews, restructures, acquisitions, TUPE, and consultation processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within NFP, demonstrating professional credibility.

  • Flexible, positive approach with the ability to adapt to constantly changing environment
  • Ability to deal with people and confidently communicate at all levels
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Can demonstrate discretion with high integrity to ensure confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Experience in the development and management of HR Processes
  • Experience with employee relation
