Fire & Security Engineer

Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire and security systems, including but not limited to: fire alarms, intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Routine maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems
  • Responding to emergency callouts and repairs
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Communication with customers and colleagues, providing technical advice and assistance

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, or HND) are ideal but not necessary
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a fire & security engineer
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including BS5839 and BS EN 5013
  • Experience with a range of fire and security systems, including but not limited to: fire alarms, intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to customer sites
  • Must be willing to be on call for emergency repairs

Package:

  • Up to 35k + Callouts & Overtime
