We are working with a family in Nassau, Bahamas, who would love to ensure their three children have the highest quality academic support over Term 3 and possibly the next academic year.

They are looking for a dynamic and organised tutor to inspire their children to push themselves academically and achieve the best results possible.

This is an incredible opportunity for a highly qualified tutor to support three bright and engaging children to the receive the best quality education.


Details:


  • You will be teaching three students aged 7, 11 and 13 years across the core curriculum. You will also need to manage any liaison with their school, such as coordinating tests and feedback.
  • Your role will be to support the students delivering an extension curriculum while ensuring that the material the school is providing is embedded and understood.
  • The goal of the programme is to support the children with their weekly and termly exam cycle, to help familiarise them with the exam formats and ensure success.

The ideal tutor will:


  • Be an experienced tutor with a strong academic background, ideally a trained teacher, someone who has worked in independent schools, or an exam specialist.
  • Understand and be able to deliver the core primary curriculum and help thoroughly prepare students for the exam cycle.
  • Have a high energy teaching style that teaches through excitement and passion, while ensuring a high level of structure, planning and productivity.
  • Adept at positively challenging students to reach their full potential.
  • Be both a tutor and a role model to the children.
  • Understand what it means to support a family in the home environment.

Dates/Times:


  • Starting from Wednesday 10th April (travel day) until the end of Term 3, with the possibility to extend until the end of the next academic year.
  • 4 hours of tutoring each day split across the three students.
  • 6 days per week with Fridays off.

Salary and expenses:


  • Your own house will be provided, just a few minutes away from the family's property.
  • A car will be provided by the family.
  • Travel expenses will be covered, as well as food whilst working with the family.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 4 months

From £200.00 per day

  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:


  • Tutoring: 5 years (required)
Residential Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Qualified Examiner: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • PGCE (preferred)

Work Location:
In person
