Robert Half are currently recruiting within the Financial Services sector for an Assistant Fund Accountant in the City of London.

Role

This Assistant Fund Accountant position is for a slick private equity firm based in Mayfair in the City of London.

With it's headquarters in London, as well as offices in Stockholm, Munich, Luxembourg, San Francisco, Shanghai and Madrid, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Fund Accountant (ideally with private equity experience) to join the high-performingfinance team
There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

Reporting to the CFO
Fund financial reporting
Reviewing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow prepared by the fund administrators
Cash and liquidity monitoring
Participating in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
Managing the external auditors and administrators
Ensure that accurate and timely reporting from Fund Accounting is provided to both internal and external recipients
Prepare regulatory reporting submissions as well as other bespoke reporting for investors

Profile
To be considered for this Assistant Fund Accountant position in the City of London the following criteria is desirable:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or finalist (desirable)
2:1 or 1:1 from a Redbrick / Russell Group University
Private Equity / Financial Services / Asset Management background
Minimum 1 year fund accounting / audit experience
If audit experience, Big 4 is desirable

Salary & Benefits
£35,000 - £45,000 + study support + bonus + generous benefits
(Salaries can be fairly flexible and can vary depending on experience)
