    Description
    Spinner Medical Recruitment acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters of Australia and the Torres Strait. New wage agreements in Queensland make working in Emergency Medicine very desirable indeed. In Queensland, Emergency Medical Practitioners get an additional 25% allowance (applied on base salary).

    Total first year remuneration package is up to (depending on years of specialist experience - 9 years) $630k + oncall, call back allowances etc.

    • Emergency Medicine specialty allowance - 25% of base salary.
    • 1st year $20,000 incentive allowance.
    • 75% employer pension contributions (superannuation).
    • 6weeks CME leave allowance.
    • Annual $21,500 CME allowance.
    • Annual Vehicle allowance up to $25,000.
    • Incentive allowances.

    Quality, safety and risk.


    • FACEM or training completed in either Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, NZ, South Africa.
    • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) certification.
    • Significant experience in emergency medicine.
    • Willingness to work on roster for weekends, public holidays etc.
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous medical education.
