School Receptionist/Admin Assistant
Bishop David Brown School

8am to 3.40pm, Monday to Friday - 36 hours per week, term time only (plus INSET days)

Salary UST S4 £19,827 to £22,522 per annum (FTE)

Actual Salary £17,057 to £19,375 per annum Dependent on skills and experience

To start as soon as possible
We are seeking a smart, friendly and well organised person to manage our busy reception area.

You will be confident in dealing with visitors and telephone enquiries, assist students and staff with enquiries and you will have good general IT skills.

Your duties will include:

Providing a professional receptionist role to internal and external visitors.
Maintaining the efficient operation of the reception area and telephone system, handling incoming calls and redirecting or taking messages as appropriate.
Liaising with taxi companies re term dates and school closures etc.
Providing administrative and secretarial support, as required.
Overseeing lost property
Administering lockers keys for students.
Employing initiative and discretion at all times when dealing with all school personnel, visitors and outside agencies
