A bit about the role:

We are seeking an IT System / Support Analyst to work closely with our back-office team in London in support of the current software and the hardware estate within a front-line support role.

The ability to work across a range of issues of varying scale and complexity alongside highly skilled clients, is particularly valued.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Delivering outstanding support and assistance to colleagues in a proactive, flexible and constructive way,
Dealing with a diverse software portfolio.
Investigate root cause, problem solve and research solutions.
Manage service documentation.
Engage with third party support and/or repair where necessary.

About you:

Education & experience required:

Degree or NVQ Level 3, Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
Two years in 1st line support or work or industrial experience while studying
Previous experience in a scientific IT setting is desirable, but not essential.

Skills & abilities:

The ability to work across a range of issues of varying scale and complexity alongside highly skilled clients, is particularly valued. Previous experience in a scientific IT setting is desirable, but not essential.
Ability to communicate at all levels of technical expertise and seniority, inside and outside the organisation, both verbally and in writing.
