    We are looking to recruitflexible, enthusiastic, and motivated staff to our Outpatient PhysiotherapyTeam. We have two exciting full-time opportunities for suitably experienced,dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our forward thinking andhighly regarded musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Team.

    These full-time posts are atBand 6 level, primarily based at the West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit, JackettsField, Abbots Langley site. There may however expectation to work from home orfrom our other main hospital sites, as and when required.

    The successful candidates willbe supported by a Therapy Team Lead as well as Band 8 and 7 clinicalPhysiotherapists through a well-established probation, supervision, andappraisal process. Our Band 6 tier provide robust peer support. We also offerin-service training opportunities and experience will be gained in the supervisionof Band 5 Physiotherapists/other junior staff members as well as Physiotherapystudents.

    Main duties of the job

    The Responsibilities

    If you are successful in yourapplication to this post, you will be expected to manage and deliver on theresponsibilities outlined below as well as those not included here, calltoday to discuss further:

    To provide physiotherapy care (specialistassessment and treatment), in the outpatient musculoskeletal Physiotherapysetting, at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

    To be responsible for the supervision,appraisal, and education of more junior physiotherapy staff within the clinicalteam.

    To supervise, educate and assess physiotherapystudents.

    To participate in evidence-based audit andresearch projects.

    To participate in virtual consultation model, when required.

    To participate in an extended hours and 7 dayworking pattern, once/if implemented.

    You will be working in a busy, friendlyoutpatient department seeing GP and Consultant referrals, undertakingassessment and treatment face to face and virtually.

    Your caseload will include elective/traumaorthopaedic patients, and pregnancy related MSK conditions ( pelvic girdlepain).

    You will utilise electronic patient recordssystem to document care provided.
