Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is seeking a Civil Engineer (Quarries) for our South Region, to manage our quarries and stone production programme.

We build and maintain roads and bridges, access routes and recreation infrastructure; locate and manage quarries; and adapt our infrastructure to meet the challenges of a changing climate, including reducing land slip hazards and managing increased water runoff.

If you are practical, a problem solver, are knowledgeable about quarries and have experience of managing quarry operations including blasting; enjoy working with others; are enthusiastic about sustainable management of land; and are interested in a job that gets you out and about this may be the job for you
